Rajaram Gowda (earlier Rajaram PM), founder and Director, is a multi-faceted
personality having various qualifications and interests besides his varied work
experiences.
He was trained in Advanced Composites at Eurcopters for the design and
development of the Advanced Light Helicopter (Dhruv) before the project
commenced (end of 1986), by the Govt. of India. He was one of the first
Engineers from India to be trained in this technology and he played a very
active and significant role in the development of the ALH-Dhruv. The first
successful flight of ALH was in 1990, a significantly short development period
for such a project in the Aviation world.
He was also instrumental in the development of the LCA-Tejas Delta wings,
INSAT Satellite series, 250 KW Wind Turbine blades, Multiple versions of
Dhruv, Development of Light Combat Helicopter (LCH – Rudra),
Productionising of ALH-Dhruv, Wind Tunnel models for the above, etc.
After the succesful stint in the Indian Aviation Industry he went to USA to
pursue his MS in Computer Science and worked in the US Software industry
where he eradicated the Y2K Bug for SABRE Tour Application (The Worlds
Largest Online Reservation System), developed Multi-Destination Reservation
System for booking Flight, Hotel, Car, Sight-seeing, and other Options, for
multiple destinations.
After returning from USA to India, he worked as a Professor for an Engineering
Institute in Bangalore where he taught nearly 30 subjects for Post-Graduates
and Under-Graduates, presented/published several papers/Book chapters in
reputed conferences/ Journals, and guided numerous projects for the
Students. He retired recently and he wanted to re-ignite his passion of
providing Air-connectivity between small cities/towns of India using small
Aircrafts/Helicopters. Hence, he started this company (AiRiders Private
Limited) with a few of his well-wishers.

Dr. R. Jaganraj is a passionate drone engineer with a decade plus experience in
multicopter, fixed wing, LTA & Hybrid drone platforms. He completed his UG, PG and
Doctorate in Aeronautical Engineering with specialization in Unmanned Systems,
Mathematical Modeling and control systems. He is a DGCA certified drone pilot. He
completed various funded projects through funding from international, national and
industry consultancy. He developed a variety of drone vehicles for various applications
which includes network installation, water sampling and Agri tech. He also developed
various technologies for drones which includes tilting mechanism for VTOL, modular UAV
frame, Multi terrain UAV operation including water and novel drone control technique.
At present he is working as Head / Aeronautical Engineering at Vel Tech University,
Chennai. He has a successful track record of collaborative works with several industries
& institutes at international and national level. He has 25+ journals / conferences and 5+
patent publications in drone and mathematical modeling. He is guiding 6 research
scholars towards development of drone technologies in energy, anti-drones, station
holding and control augmentation techniques. He is a mentor for notable startups in
drone technology. He is reviewer of leading SCI journals in aeronautical engineering.
Our target audience is the middle class segment of the society. Our primary target audience is that because we make flying affordable and accessible to everyone. Als0, The group of people who wants to travel fast due to any emergency situation.
This will be crucial step after our product development, we would focus on building our brand so that we can increase our reach into the drone market
After successful completion of drone development, we would start producing drone into multi-fold quantities
We also plan to introduce some new safety features that will help to the customers in any tough situation.
The Drone will have a equal sets of propellers it can be a Quad or a Hexacopter configuration and have a minimal foot print to enable the Drone for maneuvering and parking in normal streets and take off from streets. There will be a petrol engine to drives the generators to provide electric power to battery and motors pack in addition to a bank of Lithium Battery Packs which is also have a reserve capacity to for emergency landing power (10 minutes) in the event of any failure. There will be a parachute to reduce decent velocity and a air bag deployed at touch down to protect the occupants. There will be a collision avoidance controls with LIDAR detect- and-avoid sensors etc.
We are generating our revenue through selling our Two-Passenger drones to the people. So, Basically our primary sources of revenue coming through selling our product.
