We are like a family and beleave in doing work together like a team and grow together and having fun together for our bounding. We know each other for a long time. We know the experiences of each other so well. We understand better each other and accomplish with the projects with full transparency. We transformed our passion into the profession and made this decision to build Airider.

AIRIDERS Private Limited is a Private incorporated on 22 February 2022. It is classified as a Non-govt company and is registered at the Registrar of Companies, Bangalore. We are involved in the Manufacture of transport equipment. The founder had a long-standing ambition to start an aerospace business that served the middle-class segment of society and made flights up to 100–150 kilometers affordable and accessible to everyone.

Rajaram Gowda

FOUNDER

Rajaram Gowda (earlier Rajaram PM), founder and Director, is a multi-faceted
personality having various qualifications and interests besides his varied work
experiences.
He was trained in Advanced Composites at Eurcopters for the design and
development of the Advanced Light Helicopter (Dhruv) before the project
commenced (end of 1986), by the Govt. of India. He was one of the first
Engineers from India to be trained in this technology and he played a very
active and significant role in the development of the ALH-Dhruv. The first
successful flight of ALH was in 1990, a significantly short development period
for such a project in the Aviation world.
He was also instrumental in the development of the LCA-Tejas Delta wings,
INSAT Satellite series, 250 KW Wind Turbine blades, Multiple versions of
Dhruv, Development of Light Combat Helicopter (LCH – Rudra),
Productionising of ALH-Dhruv, Wind Tunnel models for the above, etc.
After the succesful stint in the Indian Aviation Industry he went to USA to
pursue his MS in Computer Science and worked in the US Software industry
where he eradicated the Y2K Bug for SABRE Tour Application (The Worlds
Largest Online Reservation System), developed Multi-Destination Reservation
System for booking Flight, Hotel, Car, Sight-seeing, and other Options, for
multiple destinations.
After returning from USA to India, he worked as a Professor for an Engineering
Institute in Bangalore where he taught nearly 30 subjects for Post-Graduates
and Under-Graduates, presented/published several papers/Book chapters in
reputed conferences/ Journals, and guided numerous projects for the
Students. He retired recently and he wanted to re-ignite his passion of
providing Air-connectivity between small cities/towns of India using small
Aircrafts/Helicopters. Hence, he started this company (AiRiders Private
Limited) with a few of his well-wishers.

Anitha N

Director

Anitha N, also a multi-faceted personality, has interests in varied areas, viz., Fashion Designing,
Food Science and Nutrition, Printing industry, and Arts. She also helps her husband in running
of his startup and other related activities.

Dr. Bijoysri Khan

Consultant
Dr. Bijoysri Khan has several patents to his name, viz., Datum feature for a composite component, Composite aerofoil vane, Method of forming a Composite article, Composite material and method, Fibre cutting device and method, Composite Product Manufacturing System and Method, and many more.

He has a PhD in Composites from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), where he Investigated the impact behaviour of Carbon epoxy composites for enhancing the crash-worthiness of helicopter bottom structures using composites.

MRS Sathyanarayana

Strategy Consultant
After graduating in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Madras), he started an illustrious career at Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd in 1984 officiating as Special Officer to the Head of Helicopter Design Bureau to oversee and pioneer the entire Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Project as today’s Rotor-Wing Research and Design Center (RWRDC) with Ground Testing, Manufacturing and Flight Testing capabilities, augmenting state-of-the-art cutting edge technologies.
 
Initiating a Centre of Excellence for ALH in collaboration with Germany’s Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm (MBB) and various other international and indigenous establishments that cater to global quality standards, kick-stared an intense passion towards professional quality management systems which continued while pursuing career prospects, later at Mazagon Dock Ltd, Bharat Earth Movers Ltd and other establishments in India and overseas vide wide range of assignments.
 
Initially, as an active member of National Institution for Quality & Reliability (NIQR); a professional body that was formed by amalgamating the National Institution of Quality Assurance and Indian Association of Quality and Reliability during 1987, grew in stature to shoulder responsibilities as one of its Chairmen, till recently.
 
Involved in instituting various awards for recognizing and honouring World Class Organizations and distinguished individuals in association with the American Society for Quality (ASQ), Quality Council of India (QCI), Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) other related stake-holders sharing a like-minded passion for excellence; and as Champion led the execution of Lean Six Sigma deployment plans for many organizations.
 
Even after laying down office as (Hon.) Chairman of NIQR-Coimbatore Chapter, he actively continues to mentor and lead various start-ups and other organizations for quality and best practices programs in ISO, 5S, 6 Sigma, Lean, Agile, Flexible, etc., . as Free-lance Advisor & Management Consultant.

Dr. R. Jaganraj

Consultant

Researcher / Academician / Engineering Consultant – Unmanned Systems (DGCA Certified Commercial Drone Pilot)

Dr. R. Jaganraj is a passionate drone engineer with a decade plus experience in
multicopter, fixed wing, LTA & Hybrid drone platforms. He completed his UG, PG and
Doctorate in Aeronautical Engineering with specialization in Unmanned Systems,
Mathematical Modeling and control systems. He is a DGCA certified drone pilot. He
completed various funded projects through funding from international, national and
industry consultancy. He developed a variety of drone vehicles for various applications
which includes network installation, water sampling and Agri tech. He also developed
various technologies for drones which includes tilting mechanism for VTOL, modular UAV
frame, Multi terrain UAV operation including water and novel drone control technique.
At present he is working as Head / Aeronautical Engineering at Vel Tech University,
Chennai. He has a successful track record of collaborative works with several industries
& institutes at international and national level. He has 25+ journals / conferences and 5+
patent publications in drone and mathematical modeling. He is guiding 6 research
scholars towards development of drone technologies in energy, anti-drones, station
holding and control augmentation techniques. He is a mentor for notable startups in
drone technology. He is reviewer of leading SCI journals in aeronautical engineering.

Our Mission

Develop a two passenger Drone with the capability to fly around 120 kilometres without refueling, with a hybrid power system including gasoline and electric power. The Drone will have adequate failsafe system in the event of any emergency.

UNIQUE SELLING PROPOSITION And

The Drone will have a equal sets of propellers it can be a Quad or a Hexacopter configuration and have a minimal foot print to enable the Drone for maneuvering and parking in normal streets and take off from streets. There will be a petrol engine to drives the generators to provide electric power to battery and motors pack in addition to a bank of Lithium Battery Packs which is also have a reserve capacity to for emergency landing power (10 minutes) in the event of any failure. There will be a parachute to reduce decent velocity and a air bag deployed at touch down to protect the occupants. There will be a collision avoidance controls with LIDAR detect- and-avoid sensors etc.

REVENUE MODEL

We are generating our revenue through selling our Two-Passenger drones to the people. So, Basically our primary sources of revenue coming through selling our product.
